Aman Desai
I am a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the CUNY Graduate Center. My research focuses on the intersection of inequality of opportunity and intergenerational income mobility, and their implications for public policy. My job market paper aims to incorporate dynamic complementarity into the measurement of inequality of opportunity using supervised machine learning. I also work on problems involving causal inference and forecasting. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books about history and culture, as well as watching cricket and soccer matches.
